I happened to be in Virginia that weekend in August visiting family and decided to go to that gunshow. When we drove into the parking lot we saw at least a dozen police cars out front. I had never been to a gunshow with that kind of show of force before and thought that somthing bad had happened. It really wasnt that big of a show. A few months ago I inquired about the S-12 that Tech-Arms had for sale on Guns America. I got a very fast reply back and was given the choice between what looked like a Romy folder or a standard AK stock. Blackjack also sells an Ace product called a (Pignose Adapter). I have found that if you want a flush strong well built mount to install a AR variety stock, install it on Ace's internal reciever block with the Pignose adapter. BB's prices are hard to beat and have always provded me with great service.

Thanks for the welcome--I decided to try one of each that I took off my AK's. The Buffertech is stout and Im not sure if it will be too stiff. The Blackjack off my 56 Im hoping will be just right. I know that this is off topic but I happened to notice Cobra that it looks like a Ace external reciever block on your one 12. Do you like it, and curious why you didnt go with the more flush look of the internal block?.--

Wanting to install a recoil buffer. I have them on my AK's. Does anyone have any experience with these on the 12?
