  1. My .410 saiga has had no problems emptying those slugs from any of my izhmash 10 round magazines. My saiga has adjustable gas settings, I have seen feeding problems on the non adjustable earlier model saiga .410s with those slugs though.
  2. I got bored with my saiga .410, so I cut it up with my dremel. And put it back together in a slightly different configuration. USA made pistol grip, USA made FCG, Romanian SAR1 butt stock roughed up and painted with bedliner, forearm painted with bedliner also. The receiver was painted with 500 degree low gloss black. Heres some pics.
  3. I fixed the links, they should work now. right click them and say save as.

    20 gauge saiga

Izhmash did make 8 round mags for Saiga 20, I have one, heres some pics of it. I have emptied it about 3 times to make sure it functions, works great! CDNN should have 5 round mags, 8 rounders could only be imported for LEO. I don't think law enforcment would have any use for a 20 ga anyways, so there are probably not many 8-10 rounders in the USA.
  7. Heres some video of bump firing some slugs. You will need Divx 5.05 to view these. Bumping20GaShotgun.avi And some rapid fire. 20GArapidfire.avi
  8. U.S. Customs agents will usually check packages coming from foreign countries. If they were to find 8 round 12 gauge removable magazines(can only import 5 round), that could be a problem since Bill Clinton screwed us over. LEO would be no problem but the sender or receiver of the mags would need a form 6, and before they are sold to law enforcement they would need to be stamped LEO. I know it sucks, I just don't want anyone to get in trouble.
  9. Not to burst anyones bubble, but USA Customs will take the magazines away from you if they see them, plus take you in for questioning i'm sure. You will need ATF Form 6 to even try to bring them to the USA http://www.atf.treas.gov/forms/pdfs/f53303a.pdf I would not chance it, perhaps if you take the springs, base plates and followers out and put them each in seperate luggage bags you might be ok. If you decide to do it, I seriously WANT 2 of them !!

    Jamming

I had a similar problem with my 20 ga, it would only jam with light loads though. Don't hold the gun loose while shooting light loads. Perhaps try a different gas setting? I agree with ZakherBakher, make sure that thing is cleaned up and lubed properly. Mine runs pretty good now, but I don't use light loads anymore.
  11. So, what ever happend with this? Couldnt you just cut about 1 inch off the top of a 5 rounder and the top off of the 10 rounder and do some mad epoxy work? Depending on how strong the 10 round spring is from the USAS maybe use the whole 5 round mag and make it hold about 15-17.
  12. That looks really cool, if you can rack 8 rounds through manually then it should work just fine, good job!

    .410 Mags!!!

That aftermarket clear 10 round is cool, too bad we will never see them here in the USA. Maybe that mag is one of these. Russian saiga magazine page
  14. That 410 looks awesome! Hopefully the ban does go down in 2004 and I can make all my saiga shotguns look like that. My unconverted saiga looks a little silly with a 10 round mag in it.
