  1. I did purchased 6 promags. I have not had any touble with them. I still wanted steel mags, so I purchased one galill mag from CDNN. I found that the bolt would miss the round on the right side of the mag. I read on another post to take some metal of the lip of the mag so the bullet would sit higher. I used my dremal and shaved the lip down. I took my saiga to the range and fired around 100 rds though the mag and had no FTF. I guess I will be buying some more galill mags. For $19.99 thats not too bad, and yes, I do have a bullet guide.
  2. I can afford to shoot my saiga 12 now. I tried shooting the cheap Winchester wal-mart brand bird shot on my first trip to the range. No luck! So I purchased the E-tac twister puc, Magnum, and the Tac-12 gas regulating system. I used the E-tac magnum puc for my 3" and my 2 3/4" buck shot shells. The puc is made foe magnums but it worked fine with my 2 3/4 buck shot. I placed my saiga stock puc back in and adjusted my regulater full open and it fired all of my bird shot without any malfunction. Now I do not have to waste expensive buck shot to have fun with my 12.
  3. I took my saiga .223 to the range today. I wanted to try my new promags. I noticed right away that the tabs would not last long. I was right. After around 30 rounds through the mags the tab did break off on each of my mags. They all had no FTF untill the tabs broke off. The good news is that I have a Danzig bullet guide on the way and I was planning to break off the tabs anyway. Other then that I believe the promags will work great once the guide is in place. oh yea, my .223 and my 7.62x39 shot great.I love them!
  4. I'm sorry, that was Sportsman guide, not Midway.
  5. I just purchased a 20" .223 This Month at the San Antonio gun show, without dimples, for $309.00 I took it and my 7.62 sagia to the range today. They both shot great. I was really pleased with them. I believe I will purchased two more in the .223 at the next gun show. I guess I better stock up before the prices start to shoot up on them.
  6. I placed a order for promag saiga 223, 30 round mags, It was a set of 8 for about $100.00 from Midway.
  7. What plunger pin set did you use for the Blackthorne FSB. I just received mine and it seems that there are different one's out there to pick from.
