  1. They don't fit great (the mags are loose) but a 200 rd SAW gunners pouch will hold them. I'd like to get my hands on a 100 rd pouch I think they might fit better.
  2. Sorry to hear about this and what a pain in the ass it is to try and do buisness with people who feel that they are entitled to the impossible. I for one am anxiously waiting for your next run. It might make you feel better to post a teaser pic of what the new adaptors look like ............... ok, i'm just dying to see what they look like
  3. with imr4895 and varget i get about 2 1/2 to 4 inch groups at 100 yards. with the blc-2 i get 1 1/2 to 3 inch groups at 100 yards. thats why like the blc-2. im usually at the range about 11:00am and the sun is bright and beaming above. with the blc-2 you could still see that fire ball. im beginning to think it makes that fireball because blc-2 is a ball type powder. Thanks for the info, wish I would have known before loading up 150rds of it. I originally bought it for my Garand but I figured I would try with the .308, I like to keep my powder selections simple.
  4. I'm currently loading up some IMR4895 that hopefully I'm gonna get to try this weekend. I have a 20" though and the fact that the sun will be up bright and hot at 5:30am I'm not expecting to see a fireball but I'll let you know about the accuaracy.
  5. The fireball may not necessarily be from the type of powder as how much powder is being used. Not saying I know for sure but the theory I heard is that a typical .308 needs a 20" or better barrel to get a full burn on the powder in the case. When shooting out of a shorter barrel the unburned powder gets burned at or just outside the muzzle where all that oxygen is at hence fireball. You may want to try a lb. of whatever is cheapest that you have loading data on and give it try and expierement a bit.
  6. I've shot a few boxes and had no issues. Fed and fired great.
  7. I've not seen one either, but owning the full on FSB I'd never do it another way. It just feels, looks acts like a part of the rifle that is easy to remove at will. The last part of that statement being the key part.
  8. That makes sense, I'm just starting to begin my scope edumacation. Thanks for the lesson!
  9. I'm not saying that I know I'm right either....everytime a buddy and I are trying to sight in a rifle we go through this and end up tilting the gun and arguing about it for about 20min.
  10. "If your scope is adjusted all the way up and still shooting low, try putting a shim (folded piece of paper or anything that will fit) in between the under side of the scope and the front scope ring . This will angle your scope up raising your point of impact. If it isn't enough, I'd get a new mount." Wouldn't you want to raise the rear of the scope ring to raise the POI? With iron sights I always remember "move the front the opposite way you want the round to go" I don't have a lot of scope expierence but I think the same philosophy applies.
  11. New here to, done a lot of lurking also. I opted for the 20' barrel. I figured that if I was going the .308 route I wanted to get the most out of the round that I can. I'm shooting it for the first time on Sun. so I can't comment on accuracy yet and probably won't really be comfortable making comments about the accuracy until I've really shot it a lot at different ranges. I'm expecting a bit of me getting used the the rifle. As far as handling, after converting it (how's that for a Saiga owner, haven't even shot it yet) it feels really good and I'm not expecting it to handle badly, or I sh
