  1. I've heard about converting M1/M14 mags somewhere.
  2. I eventually had to resort to filing the latch down cause it would not clear even after the block clicked in... It fits well now and the latch is finally movable albeit stiff but movable. The paint has been rubbed off in spots and the metal is kind of pitted from all the prying etc. so now I've got the itch to paint the thing. And the slit in the cleaning kit worked to pry on the latch. Thanks for the help.
  3. So you're talking about the actual tube? Not something in the tube?
  4. It was very hard to move the lever in the first place. My friend was able to eventually move the lever to take the gas block out but the lever will not go back down. I put the the gas block back in place and the lever will not budge either. I put WD40 on it pushed and pried in every which way and am still unable to get it to move. Any ideas?
  5. Where'd you get the wood furniture? It is absolutely beautiful.
  6. We will be doing a lot of barrel work and installations once the new shop is up and running. Hoping to have new machinery turning in the new facility in April internal replacement parts? eh eh eh?
  7. There are no original internal parts for the Saiga rifle..... You have to buy USA made parts and 922r compliance comes into play....... so basically if it breaks down on me i'm screwed...
  8. I'm not looking to change the exterior i want it to be stock. But the internals are what I am looking for. Where can you find the internal parts?
  9. I recently got myself a Saiga .308. As I'm rather new to the AK platform.... and as it is ever important to have a backup parts kit. I need to know... what internal parts should I look to get a hold of to put in my kit? What traditional AK parts are transferable? And where do you get your parts from? Thanks for the help.
