    I may or may not have cut into the barrel removing the FSB that wouldn't come off. It's not DEEP but it's not shallow. I can't measure it cause I can't get a depth guagw in there. It's about 1-1.5" behind the muzzle. Will it cause problems?

    I think the barrel of the S308 with the .670" barrel tapers to a larger size. That's why you gotta bore the FSB to move it backwards.

    Yea calguns is a good idea. I'd like wood but I have the 21" so I just did the G2, saw grip, and a side folding stock

    If the barrel is .670" then no. Sadly my barrel is .670" so I have to go 17x1 RH without turning down the barrel.

    I had to cut it at the bottom to get it off, hammers, brass punches didn't do anything.

    I gotta get the barrel to a gun smith to thread. But to thread it to 5-8/24 he's gotta get the barrel on a lathe to trim down the barrel diameter. So I gotta just give him the barrel by itself

    How would I go about removing the S308 21" barrel? And when I put it on, what do I go about looking for to put it on right? And does "head space" have anything to do with it?

    Is it worth it to cut the muzzle? How do you do it? With a drill?

    I'm not sure what cans is. But can I thread it with that size? I thought I was stuck with 17-1

    My barrel is .670" and dinzag arms says to thread it 17-1. Are there any other threads I can do? Can I do 14-1? I'm not finding any brakes with 17-1 threads.

    Why is the S308 trigger different then the other saigas? The other ones look like a normal trigger. The 308 is long and curved and awkward looking. Why?

    I see muzzle brakes for 7.62, but is that x39, or x51? Or will it work for any 7.62? I'm looking for a realitivly cheap muzzle brake but I'm getting 7.62 and AR .308 brakes.

    Is threading a barrel like threading anything else? I'm a mechanic and in school I was tought how to Tap and die screws, bolds, all that stuff. Is it te same concept as that or is it a whole different ball game? Reason for edit: I was TOUGHT not Fought. Haha.

    No rocks huh? Damn.. Remington UMC is not liked by my S308. Everything else is perfect. But rocks, not so much Apperently.
