You talking about the one that MIKE D spoke of where u round the inner edge in the front half circle area of the extractor slot?

after some more reading, i removed a shell and pushed in and out on the top shell to break in the drum some. hopefully this will help. I'll try it tomorrow, if it doesn't help i'll lighten the spring some.

guess i'll have to try that. I know the instructions say that it's very rare to have to adjust the drum but i'll give it a try tonight. I was thinking that I had read on here somewhere that sometimes you have to file something down in the receiver sometimes or something....

Ok, I just got my saiga-12 a couple weeks ago. Shot 5 rounds of wal mart fed low brass 7 1/2 shot target/field through it at normal speeds, then i fired 5 shots as fast as i could pull the trigger. worked fine..... i ordered an md-20 drum for it and the md arms v-plug. put it in on the +(low brass) setting and tried the md-20. Stovepiped every round.... I tried adjusting the v-plug a couple diff places but didn't help. haven't tried it with the factory plug. I have 3 ports, one partially covered by gas block. I don't get why it worked flawlessly with the factory 5 rnd mag but not the md-20. th

yeah i thought I only had one also. used a partially straightened fish hook and found the other two near the front of the gas block. one partially covered. mine has shot low brass fine so far so not messing with it I'm about to go shoot it some more and try out the md-20 drum i got yesterday.

i've noticed that nobody will touch the autoplug vs v-plug for some reason....

ok i took and straightened out a bream fish hook and found two more ports. on "feels" like only about 1/3 of the port is exposed and can barely see the point of the hook when lookin in the barrel, the other seems to have half of the hole or so exposed. if i want to fix it how do i do it? if it's shooting the cheap federal field and target loads fine should i even mess with it?

exactly where are all the ports? i screw the plug out and there is a hole just inside, it has one good sized hole in it and that's all. i didnt take the puck out. I haven't seen anybody say anything about having just 1 port....

just bought my gun wed. it only has one port, much larger than the 2 visible in newsaigafans pic. 10 rnds of wal mart fed low brass target and skeet through it, the second five as fast as i could pull the trigger, on setting two. worked fine. my serial starts with 08 so i think that means its was made in 08. why do i only have one port?

Did I get a good one or something? I just ordered me an md-20 drum and the v-plug from here. also, where are the gas ports I keep reading about on here? i want to see how many ports my gun has. thanks!!
