    32221 Jacksonville. I shoot mostly at Gateway. Without a membership there the range sucks, your limited to only a couple of small areas. With a membership it is much better and they have some decent ranges that allow rapid fire. I grew up in California and even though the gun laws are horrible you could still shoot out in the rural forests/deserts wherever you wanted. I miss being able to take all kinds of fun targets to shoot, shooting paper gets pretty old after a while. I havent been able to get a definite answer if it is legal to just go deep into the woods/swamps here in FL and shoot. An
  2. The 6.8 SPC has the advantage that it is designed for much shorter barrels than the 6.5g. I have a 6.8SPC with a 14.5 inch barrel and have no problem shooting accurately past 200 yards. With commercial ammo I'm getting about 2600fps with 110gn loads, hand loaders are getting at least 200 fps more. I use it as my main hunting rifle and have been very happy with it. The downside to 6.8 is that ammo is still expensive; the cheapest available right now is 199 for 250 rounds. More companies are producing 6.8 rifles than 6.5 and ammo is becoming more widely available. For me it would really depend

I just found it amusing/shitty that this guy is trying to get 3 grand for what you can do yourself for much, much cheaper even with the cost of unconverted 12's right now.
