My 308 has the same problem. 2nd shell gets jammed and has the dent from the bolt. Where can you get a bolt from that is correct? I did a little polishing on it as the bolt looks like it was machined at the factory.

question? what is the difference, if any between a standard saiga 308 and the u308? these mags work in both?

I too got a new 308 only in the 21 or 22' . I put a new tapco trigger group in it, different stock and a hand grip conversion. I ordered a new posp scope 4x8 which I will install. I also have the removable scope mount with a red dot tactical scope. I wanted the long range scope to take advantage of the ballistics this gun has. Don't think the 308 conversion (trigger group) is that easy. I had to do some smithing on mine to make it work right. The bolt kept hanging on the hammer. I ground a little off the back and now it works fine. This gun also isn't very easy on the brass. It dents
