Sorry, but the mount and scope are most likely sold.

I have a barely used Saiga (Factory) Side Rail Mount with a Simmons Variable Magnification scope. It is 3-9X magnification. It came on the gun when i bought it in January. It was used on the gun for maybe 200 rounds and removed. I would like to get $50 for the combo. Buyer will also pay shipping. I wwould perfer it be insured shipping incase it were to be mishandled during transit and damage were to occur to the glass. Here is a picture. Unfortunatly i do not have a picture from the left side.

Then you are looking at the wrong gun. 100 isn't a problem but 200 is a stretch. the optimal range for any AK is 50-75 yds.

yes Kobra are what the Russian Military uses and they are pretty much the best out there when it comes to AK type rifles. i want one but i can justify using optics that cost more than my Saiga.

i have been off the forum for awhile and have missed this whole thing. though i knew from the begining this guy was going to be a problem. to many sketchy questions. not sure if he was just a troll or what. thankfully he has been banned. especially with some of the comments he has been making while i was gone. I am in Ohio and if at anytime he does make it back in here to cause problems or is an actual decent hacker that causes problems to the board. I am somewhat local and can report it to the authorities if it would ever come to that.

crow slayer i would have to disagree that doesn't look a bent casing to me. it looks like a bulging case. which i would not continue to shoot. i would call EAA and send it back. better safe than sorry.

yes you can get them but they are not legal!

if you want an AK just buy an AK! If you want an AK in disguise get the Saiga. i don't plan on doing any conversions to my Saiga i like it just the way it i. i will do something with the optics but other than that. just buy one of these from AIM Surplus (www.aimsurplus.com) for $289 and go buy new black furniture from KVAR

it just seems hollow to me. go to the hardware store and buy some of that expanable foam in a can and spray it in there.

just shoot it. that's what i do with mine. i like silver bear it's nice and cheap from www.aimsurplus.com they are located close to my house so it's easy. as for customizing. i didn't do any of the conversion stuff. right now i just have a variable magnification sciope. eventually i will get a Weaver mount and put a red dot or some AR style optic on it. it's great fun you will love it.

that's the joy of living 10 minutes away AIMsurplus. i can take myself a mag up there check to see if it fits. fondle it and check for a good peice of equipment. don't have to pay shipping or FFL either. i have heard good things from people about the .308 over on the high road.

i think i might go for the .308. the only thing is you can get a CETME for not much more. so it would be nice to have something a little different. So i guess my next choixe would be the .410

did you get that from CDNN, or somewhere else. everytime i call CDNN they seem to be out and have yet to find them elsewhere.
