  1. Thank you GreySmoke. Goodlooking rifle.
  2. Could you post pics? I am trying to do the same. My barrel is .670 but it "necks up" to .69something right behind the front sight. Im kinda at loss on how to go about the threading job.
  3. Super. Its nice to see a conversion that is a different flavor than most conversions including mine. Very unique and very good looking.
  4. This would be a great scope http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-1-25-8x32-elite-6500-riflescope-matte-multi-x-651832m.html It is not under $500. But it is only $62 over 500. And as a bonus it is an 8x high end, with a very low 1.25 low end that will allow for CQ shooting. It is shorter than most scopes and very well built with a lifetime warrenty. Save your money a little longer and check into this scope.
  5. Thanks frz1197. Those are some nice guns you have there. I will be using this gun more for hog hunting, so I will be carryng it quite a bit and shooting off hand, unlike your set up with the bipod. Without the bipod do you think it handles ok for offhand shooting? Like maybe 3 gun style? Or is it too bulky? Thanks
  6. Thank you. I don't really mind heavy rifles either. Its more of the "front-end heavy" that bothers me. But with the TWS gen II and scope on the rear, I hope that won't be a problem. Anyone else with experience or pics of this rail feel free to tell me how it is.
  7. Howdy folks, I am about ready to upgrade the forend of a converted Saiga .308 16" barrel. I am trying to decide what Tri-Rail forend to get. I am mostly intersted in this one here: http://store.carolin...-Forearm/Detail Anybody have experience with this trirail? Does it make the 308 too front end heavy? Any other thoughts on different tri-rails are welcomed. And please, if you have any pics of this forend on your rifle, I would really like to see it.
