I have run about 200 rounds ( 55GR. FMJ ) thru my Saiga 223 with no problems. At the range where I shot I have asked other shooters about any problems with TulAmmo and there has been only 1 problem a FTF from a shooter after he ran 90 rounds thru his rifle.

Has anyone noticed that Tula 223 is not in-stock in a few online ammo stores? I checked Wall-mart and 4 stores are out. When I asked when a new shippment was going to come in I was told the warehouse is out of stock.

This also came with rifle.

Thank to all who answered. It is an early weaver mount. This makes it an easier fit to the rifle. And if UPS gets it's act together I will be able to pick it up today.

I need some information on the device shown below. I know that is most likely an earlier of the R34. I would like to use it on a new Saiga 223 that I will be getting this week some time. I am not sure of the type of mounting that I need to place on the rifle. ( see 2nd pic) Any ideas?

Thank you for the information. I do have 1 reservation about the 5.45x39mm because I can only find it made by Tulammo and Wolf. No US company.

I need some information on a future buy. The local gun dealer has a Saiga LZ-240 for sale. The problem is that is chambered for 5.45x39mm not 223. What is the difference?
