it appears to be the 21" saiga synthetic that comes as factory equipment.

i just recieved 4 new surefire magazines, they look nice but dont fully lock into either my 5 yearold 16" .308, or my new Saiga .308 21" model made in 08. It appears a little filing on the front or rear latch nub on the magazines is in order. Have any of you done this, if so where? Thanks

Yes I would say some flat black rustoleum will make them Ninja certified. They are too shinny for tactical operations.

I was about number 80 on the list, I ordered/paid for mine on July 3rd off the website order form. Friday Dec 8 I received them in the mail. They look great and fit the gun just fine, I loaded one up and it actually held 20 rounds!! It looks like a real nice magazine.

So When are the COMPLETE mags shipping??

The Psop scopes have a huge amount of windage and elevation built into them for a reason. On my Saiga .223 I had to move the front site all the way to the right to get the rifle on paper at 100yards with the iron sights. The psop scope was no problem due to the several Meters of adjustment built into it. My .308 isnt nearly as bad, now if I could just find a mount that will stay put on the side rail for more than 10 shots. I would second using the windage adjustible rings, rather than messing with the pins on the mount. It could also be that the scope is causing the problem. Tr

Is there any word its been 2 weeks since the 2nd round of test mags would have gone out??? Did the second round work ok?? Are we now waiting for followers from RAA??? Is anyone going to be making a US follower?? I ordered three on the group deal, and paid in full in July, and I have yet to receive any e-mail update from FBMG, so it seems posting here is the only way to get a status update. Thanks
