I got to take my new 20 rounder out over the weekend, I was chucking the australian cheap .308 ammo through it. I myself never had a malfunction (120 rounds), although I handed the rifle to my 12 year old son and he had two jams, the rifle fired, ejected the shell and did not put the next round into the chamber, had to drop the mag and eject the shell out of the bottom of the gun. I am thinking he was flintching so bad that this may have caused this, what do you guys think?

I received mine in the mail today, a little dissapointed in the side to side wobble. Another strange thing, I own two .308's one shorty and one longer barrell version. In the shorty it has a lot of play, while the longer barrell seems to lock up a lot better, although wobble from side to side is about the same in both guns. Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

I am looking to buy some high capacity mags for my .223 I just purchased, the only ones I can find online are around $55.00 a piece. Is there a source to get these cheaper without buying one that is not made for the Saiga and doing some tool work? Thanks in advance for the replies. All this saiga stuff is new to me, but have bought 3 of them in a two week period. (2 - .308's and 1 - .223) Definately a fun gun to shoot!

I jusst found this site recently, and am happy I did! I just purchased a .308 with 22 inch barrell about 2 weeks ago and was astonished at this gun! I was so happy with it, I just picked up a 16" version last night and am having a .223 in a 16" version brought in the first part of next week. There is some great information on this board and I appreciate the positive eperiences and comments. With that said, I have what may be a stupid question to some, but here it goes. I had a mounted a scope on the 22" barrel and have it sighted in pretty good, my question is can I take this off this gun
