Yours has the extra Y stamp which means that it is more desirable to somebody looking to make an exact replica of a 103. I'd say put it up for sale then buy the underfolder.

There are two people local to me that will thread my barrel for $20. First guy is the shop I bought my Saiga from who also did the conversion for me. Second guy is a class 7 FFL and builds a lot of guns. If I were to thread mine, I think I'll spend $20 and let a guy who knows what he's doing do it rather than spending $80 and risk f'ing it up.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it. I kinda like the muzzle flash personally, and I'd rather buy more ammo than something to stick at the end of my barrel.

My 7.62 build date is 09, no stepped chamber, factory PG hole, HG grooves, feed ramp, dimples. Here's what the business end looks like. Even thought I have all the "goods" that would point to a threaded barrel, I just dont see it being one.
