I dont think anything is going to happen well up until the conneticuit shooting.. My heart goes out to all of those affected by that tragedy. All of those poor childeren. I just dont see how you can look down your sights with a child on the other end. Any ways I hope nothing happens as far as a ban but they should definatly make it harder to acquire guns..like a psych test or something.

thanks fellas i appriciate it. and one more thing the sights are a bit off at 100 yrds. when im lined up dead center it shoots a little bit to the right..i have the front sight adjustment tool and am wondering which way to adjust the front sight..dont you chase the bullet with the front sight?

Hey guys so i picked up my new saiga today. Very happy with it but just had one question about something. Look at the picture and see how the spring doesnt sit flush..is this normal? I have not seen this before. All the hammer springs I see sit on the trigger flush. Just wondering.

Hey i doubt this is true but someone i know was saying that they are talking about banning the foreign mil-surp ammo. Is this true you guys? I doubt it.. (who knows what will happen after that piece of shit murdered those innocent childeren).

umm..buy a 7.62x39 with a 16 inch barrel and thread it..get your muzzle attatchment and put it on?

If I grab the firing pin with tweezers I can turn it side to side quite a bit..is this amount of free play normal?

hey is it normal for there to be slight contact with the botton of the bolt and the top of the bullet guide? mine has a little bit of contact, just barly touching.

you can use all ak mags and the saiga ones too. ak mags are way cheaper.

So my bullet guide mission was a success and I recomend to anybody that has a Saiga to do the bullet guide its way worth it. Even for people that live in commy states such as California cause ak 10 rounders are way cheaper than the saiga ones. This was the easiest mod I have done so far and I have done everything else such as the full conversion, thread barrel for muzzle break attatchment, polish trigger group..etc.

Well guys, I guess this is more true for non-chinese AK's like russian and the better euro ones. The chinese ones seem to have a higher incidence of parts breaking and this includes chinese sks. mak 90 bolt someone elses mak90 bolt Case rupture reported on theakforum due to a chinese type 56 barrel pin shearing cause a headspace problem which resulted in a case busting and jamming in the chamber This is the third chinese sks rod I have seen in the past 12 months break By the way, none of these broken pieces are mine. check it out.the bolt on a standard ak is quite a bit thicker than the saigas there for the bolt has gotta be the saiga but i think it will fit into ak carriers.

i say stick with regular converted saigas. dont have to worry about not bein able to find after market parts.
