No, the tang is not cut. the Tapco AK stock needs it. I may cut it and switch to an internal block eventually, but for now I'm happy. I have not had a chance yet since just completing the conversion this weekend, so I'll update on the shotgun itself and the FF clone when I do. Thanks again all!! I'll also note, between reading all the posts here, and several youtube videos, I was confident enough to do this, and it only took me 2hrs (including dry time for the paint on the underside). So a big thanks to everyone's posts on here!! Great Forum!!
