The burr is exactly where duggr indcated in the pictures. Alittle light work with some emery cloth and it worked fine.

I received a 10 rounder a week ago that would barely engage and would fall out after the first shot. I found a small burr in the notch that the magazine catch engages in. An update. I mounted a 1/2" riser and then the Eotech 512. The riser fit the XN rail perfect. Off to the range

The rail appears to big the Eotech will not fully clamp on the rail and is slightly cocked (high on the right side looking from the butt) the Eotech just barely gets a bite on the right side. Other than that the gun is awesome. Cycles great and was impressed with the feel.

I received my xn today as well an the top rail was out of spec. I tried to mount an Eotech 512 no luck. The 512 fit my AR perfect. Any suggestions for mounting the 512 on the out of spec rail? Possibly a riser?
