My wife is from here, my job is here, for now....lol... Summers are GREAT....Both weeks....

Those are modded m-14 mags. I am waiting on FBMG for mags. Besides today is -30 wind chill. I am in no hurry to go to the range.

I got the folder in today... Now the only thing I have planned is a muzzle brake. I am still waiting for mags and the weather...

Even with grinding on the hammer of the G-2 FCG it took less than 2 hrs from start to finish. Piece of cake.

Well, here she is............. I could'nt wait to covert it, the factory trigger sucked so bad....

I bought my rifle on Saturday, and ordered on Saturday... Hopefully It will not take too long because the previos owner kept the mag. :evil:

LMAO. It looks like thr trigger pin on my 308 is cut lower, the reciever is lower in that spot than my AK's.

I used a G2 FCG when I did my mod, it works great. The safety does not work, some day I will fix that.

Picked her up today. I got a lightly used Saiga 308 for $249 Out the door.... No mag, which is a bummer. Once I get mags I'm gonna convert it. I am thinking of canabalizing one of my AK's for the parts....I already reload for 30-06 so I thought this would be an awesome addition.

I did'nt see where it said 308, but it may have been under the scope mount. I guess now I just need some money to make it MINE....

I was looking at a 308 saiga. On the reciever it has "7.62X51" stamped. I know that is the NATO designation, my question is since most factory 308 is hotter than NATO specs, what is this rifle really chambered for 308 Winchester or 7.62 X51.

Hey guys, just wanted to say hello. I have been lurking here for a while. I have built several AK's and working on a pistol build now. I have my eyes on a Saiga 308 that I would like to buy and convert. I am looking for a 308 battle rifle so my options are pretty much open. I already have an AR and carry one at work, while fine rifles, I am no huge fan of the 223 as a combat arm. Now if they made 10 or 20 round mags for the 30-06 Saiga.
