  1. Thats very nice! What is the length of pull with that stock? Thanks,
  2. I think that you may be able to mill it down. I tried to grind a trunion one time and ruined it.
  3. I wouldn't rule it out, though I mostly want to sell. There's nothing in particular i'm looking to trade for, but can't hurt to make an offer. Hungarian AMD-65 7.62X39 built on a NODAK Spud reciever and 4 20 round mags.
  4. I have 2 less than 100 rounds thru each. for 45$ each I will deliver them to San Diego. I will be there on the 14th of May on business.
  5. I used the standard AK piston. I believe the other is for the AMD.
  6. I just used a Tapco AK piston on mine. Works fine.
  7. My Saiga 308 did not settle down for a few hundred rounds. With the conversion and nice trigger it is more accurate than my Remington 30-06.
  8. I also did a quick analysis of reloading cost. Considering that I was buying virgin brass to start with, surplus or wolf was a little cheaper. Once I was reloading fired brass it became a lot cheaper. I also had a lot of bullets on hand that I used in my 30-06. If I had a better bullet puller I would scavange some bullets from my 30-06 loads.
  9. I just had a terrible streak of luck and need to sell my Saiga. I have the Saiga scope mount with 'Buck Ridge" 3x9 scope. I have 3 FBMG 20 rounders and one factory mag. I also have one 20 round M1A mag that I modded, it works, but only on the range the last round tips the follower. It has a Tapco G-3 trigger and folding stock. I put in a US gas piston, but will include the Rusky one. My price is $650 plus shipping from ND to your FFL.
  10. I use 4895 and 150 GRN JSP's. Nice accurate loads.
  11. Ok, took lil miss Saiga to the range again today. Fired Wolf ammo, 150 grn handloads and 150 grn Factory Federals. Shot 200 rnds, 1" groups at 50 yds with open sights (did not feel like trudging 100 yds in the snow). Russian scope mount sucks, I had to shim the back ring 1/16" just to get it on paper. Really seemed to be settling in. With a little more break-in this just might be the ONE.
  12. I pulled it off, What a pain....OMG... I almost gave up. Cleaned it up and silver soldered it, Gas port is still open. Longhunter, It has been converted already.
  13. Thats the major leak, it is also leaking at the front. I was thinking of silver solder. It was functioing badly, only one mag without problems. At the time, I thought is was mags, now I am not so sure. Non of my AK's leak there. I did not really want to take of the GB and FSB...arrrrggggg... Oh well now I will be shamed into putting on a muzzle brake.
  14. Hey guys, It looks like my gas block is leaking? Is this something I should fix? Any Ideas? Thanks
