Took this from another thread. Its left me confused about the law here. I realize this says Pistol and not Rifle. I assume all AR and AK Pistols fall into this category... Question is... Does simply adding a bullet button make these features exempt from being classified as an assault weapon? Per CA DOJ's Website: 12276.1 (a) Notwithstanding Section 12276, "assault weapon" shall also mean any of the following: A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following: A threaded barrel, capable of accepting a flash suppressor

I have a stock upper & lower set from a M85 pistol that I wont be using. If this fits your gun and needs drop me a line. -
These are pretty standard mods for this gun as Ive seen a few others like it (online) but I really love the look and feel of it. So f'n fun to shoot! Midwest Industries railed forearm setup Tango Down rail cover (left side) SB47 Brace Magpul AFG1

I agree, the patina looks cool and some steel mags will really complete the look.

Thanks again. Great forum.

Thanks Spacehog. One last question. Does it have to be AKM specific or if advertised as simply AK for a stamped receiver would work?

Hey all I recently picked up a Saiga 223 brand new and am looking to do some of the obvious mods. I picked up a new gas tube and clip retainer from Dinzagarms so I could add some wood furniture. My question is what type of furniture will bolt right up to this? Does it need to be Russian? As I understand it Yugo wouldnt work as the upper forearm is shorter but not sure if there are others with similar incompatable sizes? Any help is appreciated. Also if anyone has a lead on a forearm kit and buttstock in a darker shade would be appreciated thanks.
