Was out walking my dog with my girl Sunday night and saw fire trucks and police cars. I find out last night that some thugs bumrushed a guys door and shot him in the head. By the grace of God, he wasn't even seriously injured. Time to put an AK on nightstand duty?

Or you could get a motion sensing camera & set it up above your door...
You'd be better off with a pistol if someone was pushing in as you answered the door.
Your first reaction would be to try to stop him from opening the door & in that situation, it'd be easier to transition from blocking the door to shooting the bastard.

12 ga. 00 buckshot. There's way too much possibility for over penetration with an AK...even with SP or HP, I'd still be worried about taking out a neighbor along with the perp.

Good points. Right now, there's a .45 on my side and a 9 on my girl's side of the bed.
