  1. My friend was called by Gilberts yesterday and told the IZ109's WERE IN!!! Gilberts said that they just had a very few to sell that had not been pre ordered.
  2. If the magazine cannot be inserted on a closed bolt, then it is not possible - physically - to load more than 3 rounds. Since that's what the law regulates, why would you think the magazine is illegal? Now -- the question becomes, what if some inventor wannabe tries changing the spring or modifying the follower to allow it to be loaded on a closed bolt? Of course, then they have taken it upon themselves to violate Federal law -- but it still shouldn't invalidate Mike's original design.   3. Federal migratory waterfowl law only allows hunting with a shotgun that is capable of holding only three rounds. The magazine must be plugged or blocked to hold two rounds , the chambered round counts as the third. The Commonwealth of Pa. follows the same law. Only a two round magazine would be legal.
