Ciener used to make a kit for the AK platform to convert to .22lr. I sometimes see them for sale but they are expensive and from what I've heard really finicky and don't work to well. I don't think one for an AR15 could be modified to work.

I know at least two people who have bought them since seeing mine and more who will, and I tell them about this forum. Still LOVE mine. Don't have the time or money to play with it right now, but at least I BOUGHT it while the price was right. I'll NEVER get rid of it. Polished the innards and put it away.Kidding aside, I bet the Sons of Guns had something to do with boosting the addicts. Jeez! They were using S 12 's for EVERYTHING in the first few episodes!

That is totally unacceptable behavior. Friend or no friend. Someone who owns firearms knows that's the first rule never point at something that is not a target. If you feel he is unstable and no longer capable of being responsible with firearms something should be said or done. Just say he goes off the deep end and harms someone or himself and you had the opportunity to have said or done something. Tough call but maybe alerting someone that he poses a hazard may be the best thing.

They have been around a while now. The early ones shown all had standard 5 round Saiga 12 mags. XM26 mags also work in the saiga as well.
