  3. ***UPDATE 1/16/08*** Tapco G2 single hook trigger groups, pistol grip screws and bushings, and Tapco SAW grips ordered today. Thanks, Jake ***UPDATE 1/15/08*** 'Phase 1' is full.' I'm happy to continue taking payments, but becauase of ACE parts availability, I will not be able to send additional kits out until mid Feb. I will update with deadline for payment in early Feb. As of now, there are only 11 spots left in the group buy. Thanks, Jake ***UPDATE 1/14/08*** I'm sorry to inform you that there is likely going to be a holdup on ACE's end for this group buy
  4. ***UPDATE*** This will be done as a private (not Saiga-12.com endorsed) group buy. Please look for a new thread in the private sale section as soon as I get information from suppliers. I will post here with a link when the post goes up. Thanks, Jake
  5. Very nice Tony! ...adding to already large Saiga accessory list... Jake
  6. Kahr PM9 right front pocket. Can carry even in jeans. Great gun with a very nice trigger. Love it! Jake
  7. Thanks Gary for the order. Unless you have heard from me via email. The mags are all SPF. Thank you. I'll probably order another bunch later. Jake
  8. I'm waiting to hear back from the moderators/owners of Saiga12. As soon as I get an OK, I'll post the 'official' group buy thread and give a deadline to get in the group. Once I have the funds and a final count, I'll order the parts and get them out to members. Jake
  9. Welcome Streetrod! Congrats on getting a new gun. Now, please realize I'm no expert... When you get your new Saiga, you'll realize it has been set up as a 'sporter' shotgun. It has some of the necessary parts/underlying machining to configure it as an assault-type shotgun. What you do with the conversion is move the trigger forward, make a new hole in the reciever for the pistol grip, and somehow attach a new stock. The ACE setup is high-quality and very flexible. I did some reading in the conversion section here and found it very informative. Good luck, Jake
  10. The master, Tony (tromix.com) has pics of this setup on his website. I think it was #s16. Jake
  11. Hi and congrats on your purchase. I'm going to have Will at Redstick do my conversion. I'm looking at putting a conversion 'kit' together at a discount for the required parts. See here for more info/updates: LINK Take care, Jake
  12. Sounds great. I'm planning on getting my Galil foregrip from Tony, too. Jake
  13. Anyone know of a source for AK grip nuts? I tried Brownells and Midwayusa and came up blank. I'd like to put one of these in with the kit, too. Jake
  14. Medium or large is fine with me. I'm happy to go with whatever the majority of the group wants as a whole. I just don't want the headaches outlined nicely by Tony. Jake
  15. Sorry, the ACE receiver block requires modification. Looks like we are somewhere around 5 kits/stocks at this point.
  16. That's a good price. My current wholesale is more than that. Jake
  17. It doesn't bother me. The quicker we get folks together, the quicker we get our parts. Link away. I think I made it clear in the first post that it will be pretty straight forward. Jake
  18. It will be this package only. If you want only part of the package and we have enough folks, maybe I can work with you. We're not doing pads, lengths, etc. Your stuck with what I WANT. Sorry, no substitutions. Tony, I hear you. I'm not doing this deal to make money. I'm just trying to help out my fellow Saiga owners a bit. I made money on some of the S-12's I sold and wanted to give some back. Jake
  19. Hello, I'm getting a group purchase together on conversion parts for Saigas. If interested, please post in the linked post. Jake LINK TO POST IN TECH SECTION

  21. Why would the double hook cost more? They don't cost any more from the vendors. Oops. My bad, I just double checked with my wholesaler and they are the same price. Either way, I'm not trying to hose anyone and if you add up the costs of these items, this would be a pretty killer deal. I'm not buying from the 'vendors' and passing on a pretty significant savings. Jake
  22. Thanks Mike, I got on the list and ordered one. Jake
  23. I will check interest and if there are enough people, put together a package. It will be this package only. If you want only part of the package and we have enough folks, maybe I can work with you. We're not doing pads, lengths, etc. Your stuck with what I WANT. Sorry, no substitutions. Cost would be: $178 s
  24. Mike, I'm new to Saiga's; how does one get on your list for a drum and how much? Jake
  25. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows FOR SURE that the newer internal ACE stock adaptors are correctly aligning the stock with the reciever. The above picture is of the adaptor I'm wondering about. Thanks, Jake
