  1. Not much more, some handguards, stocks, and a couple of red/ green dot scopes I posted here in the past week. I hate to say it, but the harder this financial crunch keeps pushing, a few more items might surface.
  2. What can I say. "Starving artist" deal. More like hard times and misery. I actually paid around $120.00 for it a few years ago, until I found out about this forum, and learned about " Zen and the Art of Saiga Conversions". Damn, another kick to my wallet's balls! Well what comes around goes around in my world. I have a Saiga 12 shotgun I bought from a neighbor three yrs. ago that was only fired once with the five round magazine I have with it that he sold me for $150.00. Now THAT was a steal of a deal!
  3. I have a Russian made Folding stock that folds to the left. Built very stout. Pistol grip built into the buttstock. Stock plactic coated steel with rubber butt pad. This thing was an extreme bear to open and close when I first bought it. The only way I was able to deploy it or close it was by using a screwdriver and prying open the locking notch on the bushing ( I'm very strong and I couldn't open or close it. It hurt my manhood a little! ) I removed the c-clip and pressed out the pin that goes through the tang and through the grip mount, and did a little bit of filing and it opens and closes
  4. I have three 7.62x39 origional handguards and buttstocks for sale. Pricing as follows... Handguards= $15.00 apiece shipped. ( one handguard is drill hole vented ) Will sell all three for $40.00 shipped. Buttstocks = $20.00 apiece shipped. Will sell all three for $50.00 shipped.
  5. Desparate times call for desparate measures. Maybe it was DPH Arms where I got it from. Bought so much "fun" stuff when the money was good. Glad to pass the spirit savings down to someone else!
  6. http://www.lg-outdoo...asp?prod=SCRD03 Mil-Spec Red/Green dot 2x42mm scope. Rugged little bastard. Shock proof. Killed deer using slugs with this baby side mounted on my Saiga12 shotgun. Holds zero perfectly. Replaced the flip up dust cover pins with tiny bolts and nuts, due to origional pins backing out. Two time magnification. Will sell for $70.00 shipped. Thanks. JD.
  7. When the hell were they selling these sorry, not to clutter your thread, but I was just curious as ive never seen them sold at CSS. Should sell quick if its the real deal as you are practically giving it away at that price. good luck. Wow, its even got the latch cutout for the folder locks. so you cant fire the weapon when the stock is folded. Cool. CSS ( I'm pretty sure that's where I bought it from) had them on sale for $99.00 in 2010 .
  8. FAB Defense Line T-Grip 1". Mounted it on my Saiga x-39mm once. Never used it. Mount a light or laser that is operated by the finger trigger. Very stout. Mounts on handguard rail. Has slide lock to prevent light/laser from coming on when you don't need it. Also has locking bottom compartment for extra battery storage. Will sell for $50.00 shipped. (406) 548-2891. Trying to take picture of other side. If interested, I'll take another one of opposite side. JD.
  9. I bought a brand new Bulgarian triangle folding stock with all the hardware last year from CSS, and never installed it. Will sell for $85.00. Price includes shipping. (406-548-2891) Thanks. J.D.
  10. I also use .50 cal ammo cans with a cup of Tidy Cats silica crystals poured in a foot long piece of nylon panty hose stocking that is tied off in a knot on the open end. I fill the ammo cans with 1000 rds., and lay the sock on top of the rounds. Every couple or so months, you can take the stockings out of the cans, and dry them out in an oven on the lowest heat setting for a couple of hours ( I use my dehydrator ). No rust yet!
  11. + 1 for the TWS rear peep. I've got one on both of mine with Trijicon front sight posts.
  12. Well, for those of you fellers that (pre)ordered the kushnapup,(I ordered two of them), I got an e-mail I'll pass along to ya's. I sent an e-mail requesting my refunds, Bjorn replied back and it went like this... Jeff, I'm going to have to send you a check for the amount would that be okay? After credit card transactions are processed all your information is removed from our system except where to ship to. This is the information we have on file ******* I then received another e-mail from them that made me change my mind, and stay on the wagon... Total Refund amount: $4
  13. Yes I do; are there any good attachments to get? What do you mean by attachments? Are you referring to what specific brand side mount? I personally have the Texas Weapons System dog leg rail ( both generations I & II on both my Saigas) and love it for mounting my Vortex Strikefires. Holds zero everytime, and with the high scope mounts, I can see my Trijicon iron sight through the rear peep on the TWS.
  14. There's a pretty cool site that shows the penetration of certain rounds, which would give ya a pretty good idea of the wall penetration of certain calibers. If you look up "box o truth", you should be able to find it quick enough. Just a little info that might sway a guy as to what might be the better home defence gun to use dependent upon his geographical locale.
  15. I like your attitude. IMHO: A separate section would be a nice place for Noobs to get started. I also think a section for new members to post a first introductory message would be nice. Most forums have that, and I was a little shocked to see no such place here. Very well said. That was all I meant. I'm all for doing what I can to help a feller out, and try to save him some time, effort, and money. An introductory message, and where and how to get started would have saved me a lot of time and effort when I first joined up here.
  16. I do now. I just got through the links from your profile page. One helluva an idea. Mighty nice of you to give away that gear. Hopefully I'll be able to jump on that wagon soon. Gotta few months left before my re-construction surgery is all healed up. Good luck!
  17. Well hush my mouth. Goes to show how much I know when searchin' around here. Thanks AZG.
  18. We should really have a sticky on the top of the threads specifically for new folks for the benefits of "Converting vs. Not converting", or "Why Most People Convert", i.e.= going the cheap way (Crapco T-6). Included should be info about the better balancing of a restored Saiga, as well as the ability to use ANY magazine with a bullet guide, links to business member conversion kits/ parts, and the bennies of removing the crappy Rube Goldberg trigger linkage, and moving the trigger group forward (with better made parts). This sticky SHOULD be a major part of an introduction to any newby jo
