  1. I got the 35 round Galil orlite to fit with some minor modification. Getting the round to chamber requires a bit more fanagling. I just used some epoxy and built up a lip on the front of the mag. Works great. You could also put in a feed ramp. If you have two hands and a couple hours it'll be no problem.
  2. A hicap question that became political. A sign of the times. I wrote Izhmash a couple days before the ban was lifted asking about increased capacity magazines. They sent to EAA corp. EAA sent me an email that said "30rds for 7.62x39 on the way .223 and .308 later". I hope that helps.
  3. I have owned my unmodified saiga .223 for several months and have been impressed with its performance. The one problem that I have is it's small magazine capacity. With the end of the assault rifle ban, are there going be new magazines build specifically for the Saiga? I've been using a modified 35 round Galil mag, however, after firing 100+ round the gun heats up and the feed ramp that I made with a hot glue gun pops off the mag. It works, but I need reliability! If anyone could fill me in on any developments I'd greatly appreciate it. My rifle should hold more rounds then my h
