  1. FTF = Fail To Fire FTE = Fail To Eject When I first started reading this forum, I ran into the same problem of trying to figure out the "code" used here. Here's a few others: BHO = Bolt Hold Open LRBHO = Last Round Bolt Hold Open FCG = Fire Control Group SBS = Short Barrel Shotgun
  2. Here's mine. 5/16" slots. And here is the drawing I made to mill the slots. Here's the drawing in .pdf: saiga12foregrip.pdf
  3. I used a 5/16 endmill for these slots.
  4. Yes, I have a Tapco G2 Single Hook trigger group. Yes, I used the sleeve that comes as part of the trigger group.
  5. Wow! Thanks! Can't ask for something better than a custom made "SAIGA 12 GA SHOTGUN 2 X 10 RND MAG POUCH"
  6. Thanks for the reply. No, I have the original spring installed in the Tapco FCG. As the hammer goes down, the seer pushes back and springs nicely into place.
  7. Here is what I finally did with mine. I actually bent a half loop to go around the BHO tab. This way, I figure it ceratinly won't come off. I also feel it necessary to throw a big +A1 to a couple other guys for some mods you see here. 1. The (very necessary) notch in the BHO lever when using the full retaining plate on the other side. 2. And the addition of a weld tit on the trigger bar to keep that side of the main trigger spring from sliding to the inside. Thanks again for the suggestions and help. (I moved this side's trigger spring out of the way for these pictures)
  8. Thanks for the quick reply Hunter121. Your description is nicely detailed. No need to post a pic, I can understand what you're saying ... which is exactly what my plan is.
  9. Based on this thread: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=24126 and Oldandslow's post, I installed the BHO spring with the LONG leg toward the rear. However, in this thread (and the associated video): RJS34 mentions installing the BHO spring with SHORT leg toward the rear. And the thing is, with the long leg toward the read, as I have it now, with the safety lever in the 'safe' position, the tab of the safety lever (the tab that blocks the trigger) also interferes with the leg of the BHO spring. In other words, with the safety on, the BHO spring has no down-force o
  10. You might consider what I'm doing. Adding a picatinny rail to the bottom of the stock foregrip. http://www.combathunting.com/product.cgi?p...&group=8044 (Picatinny Tactical Rail $14.95) Then using this vertical grip: http://copesdist.com/ak47.htm (TAPCO Forward Grip Price: $24.99 - about the 8th section from the top) Sorry, I don't have pictures yet as I haven't completed the mod. But it's a simple matter to attach the rail to the foregrip.
