Are you referring to the Tromix one? I was thinking about getting one for my conversion, but if this is true, then I'm not, cuz I don't want to use a SAW grip. ^Anyone have an answer to the question above? Monk he's referring to skiboat's DIY TG (saigatechusa). With the Tromix one you can use any grip you want (I think). I have found that Tony states his tg can fit other than SAW with some minor modification to the bottom of the receiver. Saigatech's is reputed to fit all standard AK grips including CAA and ATI ergos.

It appears that this 12 has a 20 hg, does anyone have any info on this? Saiga2_1_.bmp

I KNOW they BOTH fit the SAW grip: I now hear the Tromix can't interchange with the CAA ergo grip, now CAN the Saigatech? One member says yes, one says no, would the Mfr care to comment? I'm really not trying to start or fuel any ongoing rivaly, I like the looks of both, but I WILL be using the CAA grip. Thanks for any info, and Skiboat, I emailed you last week with no response (other than the computer generated one)...

To be clear, I will be using an Ergo grip on my S12. I have heard conflicting things if it will fit on the Tromix diy, or the Saigatech steel. If not, I'll use a Bulgarian TG, but I like the idea of more strength, and less holes cut in the receiver.

Or any other (than SAW) grip for that matter?

Does either one accept the CAA finger groove grip? All info I see only refers to the SAW grip.
