  1. I got my 3 keepshooting.com mags in today. They seemed to be better quality than my factory mag upon my first inspection. I ran 20 round thru each of the three mags I got using Federal 7.5 shot and Winchester Super X 00 Buck. I had the gun on setting 1 the whole time and had zero failures on any kind. I like these mags better than the factory mags, and for the price it is a no brainer for me. The mag lip on my factory mag is prone to popping off, but these keepshooting.com mags seem very well made. They fit tighter in my gun than the factory mag does, but I believe this is a
  2. I tried mine today for the first time on the Federal bulk packs from Wally World. I fired 50 rounds of the 7.5 shot on setting 1!!!, and never had one failure of any kind. I was very impressed with this ammo, as all other birdshot I have tried had to be on setting 2. Maybe my gun is getting broke in, because that makes over 100 rounds I have thru it now. To the original poster, my gun has run 100% on all buckshot that I have tried it on.
  3. I just ordered three of these mags...can't wait to get them! I think the factory mag is not the greatest, so hopefully these will be just as good or better. I'll let you know!
  4. Has anybody tried the Fiocchi Hi-Velocity Nickel coated stuff?
  5. If you live in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, I can help you. Send me a PM so we can arrange to meet. The BHO swivels onto the hammer pin and the trigger pin holds the BHO spring if that helps you. PM sent about meet up. Thanks.
  6. I need someone to reinstall my BHO on my Saiga 12. After reading the various links, I don't think that I can do it. So, anyone want to help me out? Thanks.
  7. I am assuming the bolt catches are the same on the shottys as on the rifles. If your bolt catch looks like the above, it just pivots on your hammer pin. The wide loop spring shown to the left of the bolt hold open bar is held by your trigger pivot pin, and hooks into the slot of the bolt holdopen at the top in this picture. No rivets needed. There are posts here in the Technical Forum showing the easiest way to get it back in place. Yes, it looks similar to the most silver looking object in that picture. I am going to search the tech section, but I am not very AK savy.
  8. Okay, I went back to look thru my parts and found what I am pretty sure is the bolt catch. It looks like it rivets in and sticks thru the little slot next to the trigger. Argh! I doubt that I will be able to fix this. Any thoughts?
  9. My safety lever has too much play in it. It goes too high and too low past the receiver. What do I need to do to fix this, and can I do it? Also, it is missing the bolt catch. Can someone show me a picture of one to see if I have it and can reinstall it. Thanks.
  10. $5 for 5 slugs $5 for 10 00buck $5 for 25 rounds of 6 and 7 shot? Is this what you meant?
  11. I am new here and pretty much new to 12 gauge ammo. I have shot my Mossberg 12 gauge pump, but I never really paid much attention to what ammo I put threw it. I have searched thru this forum and have had some of my questions answered, but some of the information was pretty old. What should I be looking to pay for 00 buck for plinking? What brand and where can I find it? The same questions for slugs. The same questions for cheap plinking ammo, such as #6 & #7 shot. Are there any current good deals online? If so, do you have links? Wal-mart, Dick's, Sportsmen's Wareho
