I'm getting a FTF as seen in the first picture below (happens usually on the first or second shell in the mag). The second picture shows the view from the magwell (hang up area circled). And the thrid picture shows how it looks when the factor 5 round mag is loaded with all 5 shells in it. I have good gassing of ports and mechanics of the bolt operation along with the CSS kit with puk and spring. I also have the md arms 5 setting plug. Hey I was wondering what the cuts were for on the chamber face. You know how it has a step down and 10 o'clock and 4 o'clock. Enlighten me.

Hey guys so I have a few saiga 7.62's and finally came across one with a stepped chamber. It seems to me that the one with a stepped chamber kicks and muzzle climbs noticly more than the others. I have an ak-74 brake on all of my saigas. What do you guys think.

so i bought another saiga 7.62x39 and it has a stepped chamber..my other 2 do not..i guess some do and some dont..what i wanna know is if the stepped chamber affects anything other than the spent shell casing. i know it kinda leaves a ring around the neck..with the chamber step affect the life of the barrel or accuracy or anything at all.

I was at the range today and decided i had not wanted to fire off my last round, so i took my mag out of the rifle and tried pulling the bolt carrier back and it felt like it was wedged shut, i shot the round off and it functioned great. I put the mag back in and charged the rifle again and same thing.... So i shot it off and put a bullet directly in the chamber and let the bolt slam closed and still the gun couldnt be racked by hand (well it could but not without exessive force) None of my other rifles do this so i was wondering if my gun was/is messed up or if something is a little bit off..
