Hello everyone! Just got my first Saiga about a week ago and this is my first post here and it's going to be a long one I'm afraid. A couple of things to note that may be relevant later, the rifle is in 7.62x39 and I have the misfortune of living in central New York. I'm a big fan of wood furniture and a big fan of the svds, psls and all. What I'm aiming to do is build a shorty saiganov of sorts. Now, that may be an overstatement. anybody have any idea where i can get one of these? also will it work on an uncoverted s12? i've been a little confused on what stocks will work on converted/unconverted s12's. just bought my first one a few weeks ago so i still have tons of learning. I checked out ironwooddesigns and combloccustoms with no luck. the only one i found was at legionusainc.com but it was extremely pricey. just wondering if anyone had any experience or has done this before. thanks in advance

LOP cut down to 12-1/2" - i am SHORT + jacket, backpack etc. Front sight is made from the original sight base, TIG'd to a fitting & set-screwed to the gas block -I mea

Recently added Versa-Pod bipod with mini-14 adapter. Still a work in progress, but so far I'm in love.
