topmaul 42
I have ordered a die for the 14/1 LH thread, now I need a muzzle break I have a set screw locked on on my 7.62x39 and it's fine and will stay. That said I want to put a screw on muzzle break on my Wasr 3 and Saiga .223 so where can I find a .223 AK break? Will a 7.62 work? thanks

I got a real E. German AK-74 brake from Global last year for my Arsenal AK-74 clone. You can use a .30 cal for a .223, just expect the brake not to as efficient as it normally would be for the proper caliber.

dinzag 31
The tricky part will be getting a .223 TAT for the 14x1 LH die. Possibly turn down a 7.62x39 one. A 5.45x39 should work, but might be a tad loose. Also, the barrel O.D. of the S-223 is almost too big - borderline - with the 14x1 LH die wanting to cut the first few threads. Mine started peeling them away so I ground the O.D. down with a dremel. Not all dies are identical though as some have had no problems. On the one I rented, the largest O.D. of the cutting part of the die teeth was smaller than the O.D. of the barrel. When you get the parts you will see what I'm talking about. vjor 2
https://www.shop.preciseinnovationsllc.com/...n%20Accessories https://www.shop.preciseinnovationsllc.com/...hg?categoryId=6 Those are the simple ones to install, now on .223 I will get someting diferent the ak74 style made in the USA are ok but if I have the money for one and really go with a Bennie Cooley from this guys http://www.jprifles.com And dinzag is rigth, you have to get a adjustable die to make it fit to the barrel of your gun.
