Saab900TEC 0
Hi, I'm new to Saiga, but I am seriously thinking about buying one in .223. I'm interested in buying a low budget coyote rifle, and I'm interested in the accuracy of the .223 Saiga. I know the .223 is a super round when it comes to long distance shooting, but that's usually in a bolt action, or an AR-15. The AK tends to "flex" under the pressure of the 7.62x39, and the movement of the long action, so the AK's accuracy has never been what the AR's is. I'm just guessing, but since the .223 has a lot less recoil, that the rifle will have less flex, so it might be a little better in the accuracy department. Either way, I just need something that will hit 2", or 3" groups out to 100 yards. That will work fine for coyote. But, I would like to know what the range is on the Saiga .223. Has anyone gone beyond 100 yards with this rifle? How'd it do? I love the look of the Saiga, and have always been an AK fan. Any more info you can supply me with would be great! Thanks, Courtney
IndyArms 10,186
2"-3" groups with the S223 with decent ammo will be no problem... hell, you could ALMOST get that with the iron sights!! I think the S223 would be just the ticket for you!
