lsgs 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Report Share Posted September 27, 2006 we need a replacement spring for a 223 saiga,, kvar says that 223 adn 762x39 springs are the same spring. anyone got better info? was thinking 223 would be a little stronger spring cuase of higher chamber pressures. and if so where to buy? like wolffe springs or ????or does anyone have an extra spring from a 223 kit laying around they would part with? and has anyone seen in print spring specs for wire wound springs for different ak calibers? ie wire guage x coil spacing x etc... Crosshair 1 Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 Remember that the 223 has a smaller bolt face so there is less bolt thrust and by the time that the recoil spring plays no part until the bolt is unlocked. By that time the pressure still there is not very much. After saying that. I have no idea if they interchange, but I would think that they would. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
