The Saiga 100 in .30-06 looks like the .308 series 100 model. Sorry couldn't find a bigger pic right now.

This pic should come up larger. The US imported guns don't have the flash hider slots cut in the front sight base.

Will the same factory and aftermarket scope mounts that are used for all other Saiga rifles,also be used on the 30.06? The integral receiver base seems similar.

Thanks,limaguppy for your PM. I just received an email from RAAC's/Sales Marketing, Clyde Woods, that the Saiga factory mount does indeed fit/lock up on the 100 series 30 06 rifle, but that he did not try it out to see if it centered the scope over the boreline. He also advised me that Saiga makes a mount especially for the 100 series rifles, but they have not been imported to the US yet, even though RAAC has ordered them. He goes on to mention that he has 100 series rifles backorderd for 1 yr now and the US consumer demand is exceeding the supply.
