CadMan 0
I'm looking for a good SKS in an unissued / like new condition. I really like the Yugos but the ones I've run across latetly have that charcoal lined looking barrel inside. I'd like to get my hands on a good clean shooter. Prefer FTF dealing but am not opposed to dealing through the mail with someone here if they have good rep with the (Saiga-12) community.
amish_psycho 0
Have a Chinese Norinco SKS with possible buyer, if he backs out, are you interested? 1967 Chinese Norinco SKS Paratrooper (I think) ATI fiberforce stock Couple of mags Trigger housing mod (from gunsmithing magazine)
6500rpm 670
I'm not sure, but I don't think any of the Yugo's had chrome lined barrels, so they're all going to look somewhat charcol inside. Chinese are going to have the chrome lined barrels and will most likely be a better shooter, but the Yugo's have a distinctive look. All depends on what your looking for, but shouldn't be hard to find either one.
amish_psycho 0
Chromium wasn't available to the Yugoslavians because they weren't able to mine it (no deposits). They were fighting with the Ruskies and they wouldn't give them any. But generally they are a heftier rifle.
kresk 10,063
SAMCO is advertising them in "new" condition. Assume they are unissued as you can buy them with consecutive serial numbers. $169, C&R eligible.
