Snapshot 0
Got a question for you guys, I got my hands on a 2.5 in. mag for my Saiga and it won't quite go up in the reciever far enough to lock in the mag release. Do I just sand or file the rear tab that snaps into the release? and if so, do I trim it off the top of the tab or the bottom. Trimming off the top would let it go up further, but trimming off the bottom would let the release lock in. I don't want to mess up the angle of the feed. Thanks for any help, I know I've read where sometimes you have to work on them to lock in good.
G O B 3,516
The mags say "file for most perfect fit". Make shure that the front is locking in. If the front has flash it won't let it fit in. Next check the back for flash. The mags do not sit in flat. They look like they are not in right-when they fit right. Looks right don't work-WRONG. Looks wrong works right-RIGHT
dinzag 31
+1 - compare with a mag that does lock in...
Snapshot 0
Ok--I'll check---The stock mag that came with it has a rear tab that is configured slightly different than the two extras I have, but one of my 3" new ones actually locks in better than factory. Thanks
