Weigers, Bulgy 223, AK-74's & Galil Orlites with my guide... Some of the Bulgy 223's have loose fitting followers - 4 of the 12 I have would cause occasional stovepipe jams. Looks like the follower on some was cut too short - 0.040" to 0.080" or so... Look at the circular pad on the side - notice how the one in the forefront is smaller? That one was the worst at about 0.080 shorter front to back. That allows the follower to come up forward or back depending on the weather - if it cocked forward a tad, you would get this...(butt down) The bolt drags the round forward and then skips off the base of the cartridge and stovepipes it. Similiar to using an AK-74 mag without modding the follower. Now it looks like this...(butt up) Here is what I did to fix them... Built up some plastic and filed smooth.
