allanschisel 0 Posted September 22, 2004 Report Share Posted September 22, 2004 I've had both types and the one with built in rings too. Save your money and by a KVAR. It costs twice as much, but if you want one that stays on target (and in my case, stays on the rail), don't waste your money on one of those $40 ones. One I got was too far off from zero for my scope and one would not stay on the rail. After 5 shots, it would just fall off. I finally got a KVAR and it works great. Siagalova 0 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Share Posted September 24, 2004 WOW, for thirty bucks!! that site is killer for scope mounts! all them cheaper than any other around! you know it occured to me that the belarus i posted up a ways might be a sks/svd mount instead of an ak mount. they billed it as an ak mount, but I don't know............... The only problem I had with my Belarus low mount on my .308 is that it was so tight I had to file its mounting rails down to get it on all the way. Mine came from Freedom Optics.
