hoser4963 1
I want a modified magazine follower to copy for my Bulgarian mags. I was gonna buy a Robinson arms follower but they are $6 with a $10 handling fee. Piss on that. Does anybody have one I can buy to copy? Thanks.
dinzag 31
A pic work for ya? The RobArms ones have about 0.12-.15" thick pads on them. This one is plastic welded. Here's a pic of unmodded, epoxy puttied & Robarms followers Edited March 28, 2007 by dinzag
Bad Bob 0
Trust dinzag to have the required info (and great photos to go with it ;>)...

TEXASAK73 13
Ok Din,I have 11 Bulgarian 74 mags. What are you going to charge me to modify my followers for my S-223?
dinzag 31
Probably cheaper to do the robarms ones. They're $6ish each and the last ones I ordered were $6 shipping. (I got 8 of them) I'd want $7-$8 each for that many (and they would probably look identical to the Robarms ones )
hoser4963 1
Yeah, I've got a box full of those $5 AK74 mags was the reason I was asking about the followers. I still haven't got around to messing with them cause I'm converting my S-12 at the moment. Would the plastic from a blue 55 gallon drum work. I haven't measured the thickness yet. It's pretty thick. dinzag 31
Try it - most plastics will work.
warthog 1
Dinz made me a couple for my VEPR and they work great! I really appreciated that bit of work too. I was at wits end. I had gotten a great deal on a VEPR II because the guy didn't have a mag for it. I thought to myself, how hard could it be to find a mag for it? All I can say is, it was very frustrating until I found Dinzag.

I paid less than $3.00 bucks for NIW 74 Bulgarian mags.I bought 100 mags at price.I have 11 left sold the others with a 74 pistol,my MKII 74 rifle and donated a few to buddy's needing 74 mags. muttman2 0
all, are the rob flowers ready to use. muttman2
warthog 1
muttman2, yes, they are but the mags need a bit of alteration to get them to feed reliably.
dinzag 31
Can these be built up with epoxy or JB weld then filed down? Yes, but to me it's not worth the time. I've done them like that. Also you risk having them chip or break off if it ever get dropped. I think plastic weld or direct follower swap is the way to do it. Depends how bored you are...
