methical160 0
...well not really new, I've been lurking for awhile. Just wanted to thank everyone on this board, a lot of my questions regarding my conversion were answered here. To anyone contemplating doing a conversion on their Saiga, go for it, it's not that hard at all. Mine was done at my kitchen table with a dremel, drill, files, and various hand tools that everyone has. This beauty has put 4 Sellior & Bellot slugs into a perfect clover-leaf measuring right at 1" from 30 yards. Edited April 25, 2007 by methical160
scoutjoe 276
Nice! How'd you get the scope to mount up there?
methical160 0
A bit of home gunsmithing. It's a railed fore end, onto which I added a side mount rail. I have a second one I made on eBay, I wasn't sure if it'd be kosher to link to it here or not. Works great, got another pic to demonstrate.. scoutjoe 276
Any chance gracing us with a closer picture? I'm curious about it
methical160 0
Here ya go. Nothing ground breaking, but it works. Binding posts and machine screws. An easy project for anyone that did their own conversion, or really anyone else for that matter. The fore end pictured alone is on ebay right now.
