jStat 0
Reading about Barnaul has me wondering: where is this company's quality in comparison to, say, Wolf. Would it be worth pursuing this company for ammunition needs?
nalioth 405
Barnaul, Wolf and Vympel are all former military ammo factories. All their ammo is pretty much the same as far as quality (at least as far as 7.62x39 and .223 go) Wolf Gold is not made in Russia, but Czechoslavakia or Yugoslavia and it uses brass cases and is generally more expensive, but still not as good as Remington / Winchester / other domestic manufacturer. Liquifly 0
I never used their 223 but I just got a ton of 308 and it shoots pretty good. I would say it is atleast as good as the others mentioned.
