I know they are legal in CA so if anyone out their has purchased one in Cali and knows where I can get one please tell me. I am in Socal if that helps. Thanks in advance. Not all Saigas are legal in CA. Ones distributed by Russian American Armory are legal and "off list" (thereby allowed to be sold in CA). If it is a "Kalashnikov USA" Saiga, it is a listed assault weapon and not legal for purchase in CA, regardless of whether it has a pistol grip or not). Go to http://www.calguns.net and READ and use the SEARCH function before you post. At CalGuns, you will find information about the legality of Saigas in CA as well as sellers and CA FFL holders willing to transfer the rifles. Res 0 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 A couple of California friendly saiga dealers: Cold War Shooters DDs Ranch Both have saigas in stock, and should have california ffl's on file that are close to you.
