  1. Thanks. We've been having trouble with a pack of between 8-12 late at night making all kinds of racket, trying to get into the chickens, ect. Where I live is very densely wooded, so long range shots will not be an option. Sticking to buckshot.
  2. I have almost exclusively promags. I agree that they are weaker than surefires. I've read a lot about them breaking with really tough use. But as far as reliability- I've never had a problem with them. (never torture tested either). Surefire mags have a bolt-hold on empty feature too. Certainly worth the extra cash. I'd switch them out and sell the promags- but I'd rather save up for a STANAG adapter and magazines.
  3. If you're comparing Wolf .223 to LC 5.56, perhaps the slightly thicker case proves the magazine design to have REALLY tight tolerances?
  4. Lake City M855s. no sweat. blasts out one HELL of a flash without a compensator.
  5. The safety on a mav88 is positioned like an 870. The safety and pump release can be a pain to get at in a stressful situation, so I keep the safety off and chamber clear when its on HD duty. Recoil is a dream, not that much more than my Saiga .223. I got the specops stock. I'd have preferred the Monte Carlo version but it wasn't available when I ordered mine- back before Blackhawk bought Knoxx.
  6. As bad as it is getting caught with his ticket online, and trying to get a CBS reporter thrown in jail for asking questions about it- his name is ensuring he's not only unemployable now, but he's probably having flashbacks of when his last name haunted him all through grammar school. I love it.
  7. I'm an AK man. And I love that you could essentially beat the guy on your right to death with brass. So when I see spent cases gingerly tumbling from that bullpup like a deer with irritable bowel syndrome, I'm immediately suspect. What happens when you elevate your barrel to 20+ degrees? Log jam?
  8. Who in their right minds could refute such truth? A bit long, but then I think we're in this mess partially due to people too lazy to read the fine print.
  9. Anti-gun Chicago talk show host Milt Rosenberg will be hosting a radio debate on the REPEAL of the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution on superstation WGN Radio. http://www.wgnradio.com/index.php?option=c...&Itemid=123 This is a TRIAL BALLOON people. Don't forget where Obama came from....Chicago. If you care at all about freedom then you recognize that an on air debate about abolishing the 2nd Amendment is the shot across the bow. Read and respond: Defending our Constitution will be Bob Levy, Chairman of the Cato Institute. The debater who will be attacking our Constitution h
  10. ive tried that- i get nothing but form letters and automated than yous. Posse Comitatus? whats that?
  11. in the end, that and any preparations we've made are all we have left. anyone here foresee themselves as defacto mujahideen in a few years?
  12. you sir, are right on more than one level.... some of my chums are even rattling on about a continuation of the fucking CIVIL WAR!?!?!?!!
  13. Iran HAS been getting foreign help of late... so who knows?
