FYI, I found a guy that is making stock sets for the Yugo's at a very reasonable price but says that they WONT fit the last two makes. nalioth 405 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Share Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Folks, those will fit a Saiga, IF it has a lower handguard retainer. You'll also need a regular AK gas tube, also. As far as the Yugos, they just told the rest of the commies to take a flying leap, they'd make the AK their way. Very little interchanges between Yugo AKs and other comblock AKs. Their handguards are of a different length (I believe they're longer) than the combloc standard. They designed their stamped receivered AK to use the buttstock they had in production from their previous milled AK (which is why you can't just slap a T6 stock onto a fixed stock Yugo). I'd be interested in a whole set if he is making them. THE FULL STORY If I were to sell my stock set, I would be asking $175 plus shipping and insurance for it. This includes the stock, handguards, and pistol grip. I only have the one that I have. Once the guy gets going he will be producing more, but until then, this is all there is. The stock set mentioned, the one he made for me to test fit and comment on is a maple, it has a light finish and looks really good. It is however ONLY for M70B1's. It will NOT fit an AKM variant.
