non saiga 12 gauge

Recommended Posts

Theres a good article in The Gun Digest Book of ASSAULT WEAPONS: 5th Edition by Jack Lewis and David E. Steele. Its basicly a robust autoloader with limited application, they are 2 3/4 chamber, and marked to fire "00 buck only." The specifications the guns were built on are over 10 years old, probly a good collectors item to have just for the special markings. Now days they have the Benelli M-4 and Fabarm Tactical, or you could try a Remington or Browning autoloader. I think i'll stick with my Saiga though. If you want me to scan and post the article just ask.

Your welcome!

The price just seems a bit high for what you get (if you compare it to an S-12)

The mossberg is a nice piece, I guess it depends on what you plan to do with it now and in the future. You could do more "tricking out" with the S-12 than with with the mossberg. Plus you just can't beat an ak action. If you do get it, post some pictures and a range report ok?

Thanks,

Verry interesting. That looks like a great piece if you can afford to "collect" it!

Strictly for HD the mossberg maverick is $199 new at sports authority (chain store) including screw chokes. Lots of cheap accessories 'P grip ect. and then there is allways an S-12! So many choices,so little disposible income!
