BlackDog 1
I'll think you will find an acceptable ammo. I plan on coyote hunting with my Saiga, just as soon as I can get out of bed at 5 am again. I saw 3 different sets of coyote tracks on my property today. One set was very big. Last year I never found any yote tracks. THis year I've seen way too many. I've been getting consistent 2-1/2" groups at 100 yards with 50 grain American Eagle ammo out of my .223 Saiga carbine, so the 20" barrel should do better than that. Reloading 55 FMJ's, 50 gr midway dogtowns and 50gr V-maxs have also given me 2-1/2" groups at 100 yards. It is going to depend on what ammo yours likes, when you get one. Every other ammo, including reloads, I have tried typically gives me 4" groups and up. I'm hoping to get some reloads down below 1-1/2" groups, I'm working on that, hopefully within the next 2 weeks I will have that working.
bambambam 0
With my 20" barrel I have gotten 1-1/2 group using a 62 grain bullet handload. My AR also likes this bullet.David
