Blaker 0 Posted February 8, 2008 Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 My safety lever has too much play in it. It goes too high and too low past the receiver. What do I need to do to fix this, and can I do it? Also, it is missing the bolt catch. Can someone show me a picture of one to see if I have it and can reinstall it. Thanks. I am assuming the bolt catches are the same on the shottys as on the rifles. If your bolt catch looks like the above, it just pivots on your hammer pin. The wide loop spring shown to the left of the bolt hold open bar is held by your trigger pivot pin, and hooks into the slot of the bolt holdopen at the top in this picture. No rivets needed. Navy87Guy 1 Posted February 9, 2008 Report Share Posted February 9, 2008 The safety lever problem is a common one with the S12. There was a post a while ago where someone talked about installed a very small screw at the very top of the receiver to act as a stop for the selector lever. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like a simple solution.
