SkaerE 0
looking down the barrel with a light in the receiver (after clearing the weapon of course) I see a ring around the inside of the barrel about 1 1/2'' down. I cannot fit a dime in the end of my 22'' S12 barrel. so, what kind of choke do i have, and what will happen when i chop it down to 19''? thanks
johnnymceldoo 0
Its probably a full choke like mine was. IF you cut it it will go away.
topmaul 42
why cut the barrel at all if it's 22inches not and you cut it to 19 your only saving 3 inches so what? If it was 28 or 30 inches then I could see the logic but 3 inches and losing the choke, I just don't understand but do what you want cut it off, don't let logic get in your way. cut those three inches why not
SkaerE 0
a buddy of mine shot slugs through his barrel that looked the same as mine and split the end. i want to be able to shoot slugs, plus, since when did logic come into firearms modifications? kmoore 3
Many of us shoot slugs with out Saiga's, if this is all you want to do, I'd say you could skip the trouble. Hope your friend is ok. What kind of shotty was he using? Which choke? Which shell? Inquiring minds want to know
